"Paper Boat" will be presented on the expressive and colorful musical stage. Adapted from Dewi Lestari's legendary novel of the same name, the stage production will run at Ciputra Artpreneur in Jakarta from January 30 to February 15, 2026, for a total of 21 performances.
With the theme "Relive Dreams," the musical "Paper Boat" marks Trinity Entertainment Network's debut on the musical stage. It's a collaboration with the Trinity Youth Symphony Orchestra (TRUST) and Indonesia Kaya.

Having successfully arranged the song 'Perahu Kertas' as one of the label's most popular works on music platforms, the presence of 'Musikal Perahu Kertas' is a real manifestation of their dream of expanding their creative horizons and bringing music to life on stage.
"And as newcomers to the musical world, our courage also grew due to the encouragement of Indonesia Kaya, which has long built a performing arts ecosystem in Indonesia," Yo added.
The story of "Perapu Kertas" is considered very close to the hearts of many, especially because of its narrative, which explores the characters' feelings and experiences about love, dreams, and the courage to be themselves. Yo feels this work is very worthy of being brought to life on stage.
On the other hand, this work also marked a significant milestone for Dee Lestari, the writer, who saw one of her works adapted into a musical for the first time. However, Dee, who also wrote the screenplay for the film version of 'Perahu Kertas' (2012), chose to entrust the adaptation and writing of the musical script to the talented individuals who worked on this show.
"Paper Boats is a work that has given me many new beginnings. I first wrote this story while in college in 1996 and only published it 12 years later, in 2008," Dee said.
After being adapted into a film, Dee is now fulfilling her dream of seeing it brought to life on the stage. "To this day, Perahu Kertas remains one of my most widely read works, and I hope this musical version can touch even more hearts and encourage audiences to dare to relive their dreams," she said.
