Jakarta, October 2025 – Park Hyatt Jakarta proudly announces the official opening of Li Lian on 19 October 2025, marking the hotel’s first Chinese restaurant. Nestled on Level 19, Li Lian invites guests to experience refined Cantonese cuisine in a setting inspired by the warmth of a multi-generational family home, complemented by 360-degree views of Jakarta’s skyline.

Named after the lotus flower (Lián, 莲)—a symbol of purity, harmony and lasting family ties, Li Lian honors Cantonese traditions while embracing contemporary elegance. The space is thoughtfully designed and beautifully divided into several areas: an inviting entrance, a stunning verandah overlooking the cityview, a dedicated tea bar, two spacious living rooms and six private dining rooms, making it ideal for family gatherings, social occasions or special celebrations.

Li Lian’s kitchen is led by Executive Chinese Chef Tan Kwang Aik, who brings over 20 years of culinary expertise from award-winning Chinese restaurants across luxury international hotels, including a Michelin-starred establishment. His menu showcases both classic favorites and refined interpretations, prepared using premium seasonal ingredients sourced locally and sustainably.

Among the highlights, the traditional Peking duck takes center stage. Prepared by Duck Specialties Chef Victor, it is roasted using rambutan wood, infusing the duck with a delicate smokiness and enhancing its depth of flavor. Guests may also enjoy signature dishes such as Wok-fried Wagyu beef tenderloin M8 with Yunnan trumpet mushrooms and asparagus in black pepper sauce, smoked marble goby with caramelized soy sauce, and poached tiger grouper fillet with pickled cabbage, chili, tofu and fish broth.

To complement the dining experience, Dim Sum Master Chef Huang presents the Li Lian Signature Dim Sum Platter, while a curated selection of fine teas is offered at the tea bar.

Guiding the guest experience is Restaurant Manager Jerry Choo from Kuala Lumpur, who shares, “It feels warm, familiar and comforting, a place where guests can enjoy family dinners, gatherings, date nights or simply a good meal”

With its elegant interiors, panoramic views and dedication to personalized service, Li Lian becomes the sixth dining destination at Park Hyatt Jakarta and the hotel’s third restaurant.
